Homeschooling 411

We have been picking up the pace in order to get Amanda through the first semester of 9th grade.  Her BYU program started in January of this year, so she is on target in terms of time of completion.  The problem, of course, is that summer is approaching and we haven’t finished the entire year yet.  I’m not sure of exactly what Amanda’s plan is, but I would like to see her focus on Algebra only this summer and then resume her other 9th grade classes in the Fall.  She would be able to add in one tenth grade course for the Fall semester and then take all 10th grade classes in the Spring.  Depending on her motivation and pace, she could ultimately catch back up.  I guess … that’s the problem … her motivation and pace.
